Cruelty

Cruelty is cruelty, right? These days I feel a little confused if I got the statement wrong. All of a sudden a voice is gaining a large volume an eye for an eye. And the advocates of this view call others cruel. How can I be kind if I believe in eye for an eye?

I believe we call name to every thing which doesnot fits our views. We never even try to walk a meter in shoes of others, forget about a mile.

We call military invasion just, but we call terrorism heinous act. We ignore lockup, starvation deaths calmly, as if there is nothing wrong in that, its just a part of life but we lynch pickpockets if we can get our hands on them.

Sometimes when I look at ourselves from a distance I can feel how the viewers of roman circus were in middle ages. Every thing which is socially permitted or legally permitted is acceptable to us; we watch it sipping our tea. Every thing which is out of social tracks is disgusting to us, it brings out the beast inside us.
