For once, I am talking about the real “addiction” the addiction for drugs etc. We have been preached in family and school against these vices so much that I never even felt about experimenting with them. And by the time I was asked about my opinion on them I was old enough to clearly state that I believe in not touching them.
Mostly I believe its bad company that pushes people into these pits. Being surrounded with people who are eager to join in these abuses. Fortunately, that was another thing I was preached to keep away from. Bad company.
As I never felt the yearning for any of these things I often wonder what shoves so many people in this ditch. Why so little of them can come out before much harm is done. Is it weakness? Lack of self confidence or something genetic, which pushes them towards these things.
Rationally thinking I believe wise people don’t touch these things once. Because first step is the toughest one. If it is taken the rest often follows automatically.

I also try to keep myself away from "Bad Company". But, I get addicted to a lot of things. Will explain my addictions in a post of mine some day! Thanks. :-)
