Rendering justice

How many of you feel uneasy to play the role of deliverer of justice yourself? Taking the rein in your hand?

I feel extremely uneasy with this idea. I prefer laying the charge in God’s hands. Who has been watching every thing and upon whose justice I have never-shaking faith.

Why I don’t know, but since childhood I have felt uneasy about settling scores. I firmly believe in putting forth the truth, so no one else is hurt but an eye for an eye, unless he or she plucks it out in front of me- is just not my soup. If someone slaps me on my face, I certainly prefer giving him a dose of his own medicine. But if someone stabs me in my back, how can I be confident that the hand was his?
