teachers of love

We often look down upon them, though they have spent thousand of years with us, walking beside us, serving us, making our life complete.

Still when I think about unconditional love, they are the only one that cross my mind. Our four legged friends.

I have born and brought up in a family which always had some pets consisting of atleast two species. Cats and dogs, dogs and rabbits etc etc.

Its really heart warming to note how they respect each other’s territory, or love each other despite absolute difference in every thing. Their loving, protective tendencies for each other.

Recently stumbled on a pic in net, a dog bringing up two red panda babies, just could not resist the temptation to share it..

  1. Love the photo, Trisha. A friend of mine had a kitten, black as night, who used to nurse on his huge white Alaskan huskie. What a picture that would've made!

Unconditional love is right. I grew up with a little fox terrier from the time I was 3 till I turned 17. That was over 30 years ago and I still miss that dog!

  4. dear lyla,
we often look down upon animals but they can teach us a lot.
i once read about a lioness which used to bring up a fawn every year, never saw a pic, read only the story.
this one is a beautiful example of similar love.
