Trolls

I know I might have ignored this little gesture but I can’t. I somehow think it is my moral duty toward my readers; quite a lot of them have become my close friends. Please read the things written below carefully. Don’t brush them away casually.

In my long span of blogging i have met all type of people marvelous friends and trolls and people in-between who dwell the cyber world.

Unfortunately some trolls did not like the things I wrote in MSN, I have written in their user’s contribution section for almost two years. My writings were simply words from heart, before writing there I never even guessed people can become so abusive to those who write against their views.

These trolls started to cyber-stalk me from then on. I still receive their mails (After two years since I stopped writing in MSN) in my email ids. Extremely abusive and sometimes really perverted mails. Some regular writers are Shruti Brij, Shri, Vasundhara and Ria but as you know they must be fake names. But that does not +8makes their intentions less heinous so don’t take them lightly.

They are not innocent babies, their behaviour is on the brink of criminal activities, they used to regularly bother me , posting dirty (extremely) comments on my blogs, abusive comments and mails, insane rantings were daily affair. As a result I had to stop using my windows live blog because it did not gave the option of moderation then.

WORST PART IS/WAS FIRST THEY USED MY BLOG NAMES, AFTER SLIGHTLY MODIFYING THEM OR OPENING THE SAME BLOGS UNDER OTHER WEBSITES. Then they started to contact my readers with great gusto from those ids or blogs, sharing all the articles I have written in which there is/was some thing which might brush someone in a wrong way. (I should meekly say that I am straight-forward, too straight-forward for my own sake, so I have sometimes written clear cut truth without any sweetness, that much I can assure you).

Say for example, they will forward all my articles showing sympathy to Palestine or Iraq to Hindu fanatics or some articles in which I have said something really harsh. It seemed their sole intention was to drag the name of my blogs in their insane ranting or blacklist them to as many people as possible.

As I wrote under three pseudonyms (apart from my own name) I got some of them myself, that’s why I knew that they were not normal bullies who harass only the writer by posting sick comments on blogs, they had more things in their sleeves.

Can’t deny they won the war, I stopped writing in MSN and using Windows Live blogs even though I was pampered to no end by the editing section of MSN. I stick to Wordpress specifically because it gives me the IP Address of the people who post comments. Somehow I have a deep guts feeling that they will be linked to ONE SINGLE OFFICE. So they and other mischief makers don’t visit Wordpress much.

They are the main reason why i always keep my friends informed about the blog sites i am using/not using. I hope my friends won’t ignore these words.

I don’t want them to be fooled by any troll or favour-seeker using my name. i recently even deleted a remote desktop connection file from my computer. I got suspicious because one of my readers was writing my unpublished poems after brushing them up, so I asked my blog friends how can that be possible! A friend generously told me that its impossible unless someone is connecting your computer via remote access, so I searched for Remote Access software in the computer, got one, googled it and google said “Either you or someone else is remote accessing your computer.” I deleted it. My monitor crashed (they might have been coincidence but that’s what happened) … As I am not a talented writer I believe someone was hacking my connection for some other purpose. Using those poems was most probably sign of over confidence. Or may be he/she must have thought I wont be able to solve the problem.

So… I WILL SINCERELY HOPE THAT YOU WILL KEEP MY ABOVE WORDS IN MIND. There is another thing I will like to share with you apart from the above:

I DON’T USE MY BLOGS FOR BUSINESS , ITS ONLY PLEASURE, UTILISING MY TIME AND UPGRADING MY WRITING. I WILL NEVER ASK ANY ONE ANY KIND OF FAVOURS- CLICK ON AD, DONATION, AND HELP- NOTHING. IF SOME ONE SEEKS SOME FAVOUR FROM YOU THAT WILL NOT BE ME.

I JUST WANTED MY FRIENDS/ READERS TO KNOW THAT I DONT USE FACEBOOK, ORKUT, TWITTER, SKYPE. IF SOMEONE WANTS TO CONTACT ME HE/SHE CAN USE ANY OF THESE. LATELY I HAVE BECOME REALLY LAZY ABOUT MY EMAIL ID, I CHECK IT ONCE IN A BLUE MOON.

The blogs I regularly update are:
mydomainpvt.wordpress.com; magicthought.wordpress.com; suryagni.blogspot.com; agnitrisha.blogspot.com; suryakana.blogspot.com

Human rights in India

Human rights, well the word says everything about itself. It talks about the minimum rights which a country should offer to its people, people who make that country. I certainly will talk about my own country, India.

Living in a country where majority of people live in dire penury, it sounds so useless to talk about things like right to speak and express oneself with freedom. It sounds a little ridiculous when we think that till date there are thousands of people who don’t get the minimum thing which a human being needs, for example, enough food three times a day, clothes for their back, medicine when they are sick etc etc. Forget about education and awareness of their rights.

While talking about the essence of life, food, which even animals and birds can procure for themselves, first question that comes to mind is, do we suffer from shortage of food grains? answer is no we have piled up food in godowns which are decaying.

Question two, has the government failed to create a proper infrastructure to see the distribution of food grains to the poor, destitutes? Answwer is again No, the infrastructure is perfect but its implementation is almost zero. Those who need it most usually dont get it.

Question three, is the government culprit? That people starve to death or eat grass seeds? Answer again is (hopefully) No, they may be main culprits but what about those people who are paid the salary (a massive salary) to perform these duties? Where is their conscience? They see the suffering of these people directly, yet they don’t perform their duties. They don’t have to take the food from their home, they have to gather it from government godowns and distribute it. After all, that’s what they draw their salaries for.

I have been thinking about these things for a couple of years now, my take on this problem is the common people, these extremely poor people need a thorough awareness about their rights. That the duty is both way, they have duties for the country and the country too have a set of duties for them. That’s what is a must in my eyes. Otherwise they will suffer like this.

The second take brings a sarcastic smile to my lips, forgive me for that, that is these government servants should be taught duties, humanity etc etc. it sounds so ridiculous that an educated person will have to be taught these things so I prefer my first take.

The destitute should stand up for their rights with well meaning people helping them to recognize their rights.

Cherished

Feeling of being cherished… this is what most of the average human beings look forward to. Just look inside your soul, you will notice this truth.

We fall in love to be cherished by a person we admire, we make a friend because we cherish his company and hope that he does the same.

Even though my friends often contradict on this point with me, they often say that love, affection should be unselfish. One should not expect any thing from a friend etc etc. I don’t know whether they can really follow these in real life or they just say it to make themselves look good I have completely failed in judging the truth in their point of view, because I have often observed that these people demand the maximum amount of obedience from their mates. Not only that, I have seen that only noncommittal people say these things. So, their words and actions conflict. I personally believe that people who are committed will always expect or hope for commitment from their object of affection or love. As they are giving out their best why shall they compromise for some thing less?

They don’t have any confusion about their intention, they know it very well and clear that they will love and cherish their partner till the end, if every thing moves the way it is moving now, so, why shall they not expect the very same in return?

Even if we observe animals we will see when they are together, if one of them licks the other, or preens the other the second one too starts doing the same, if not the first one nudges its mate, and if it is unresponsive he also stops. That means it’s a basic instinct to expect love in return of love. There is nothing to feel guilty in it.

I have once read a poem, I have forgotten the name of the poet but that poem left an everlasting impact on my mind, it said some thing like … if you love me don’t be silent, tell me now, because there will be enough silence once I am in my grave… I too believe that, we are blessed with only one life, hence why not spend it sharing affection and warmth? Giving love and having it in return. If the object of our affection does not feels affectionate towards us why shall we not move on and look for some one who will feel affectionate towards us? This is one question I have always pondered on, and have decided after becoming worldly wise that we should move on. Because to get love one must love. Its better to share love than waste one’s life with an unloving, uncaring person and regret later.

A little good news

I love this song by Anne Murray, “A little good news”, I wont go ahead to recite it word by word, the inner meaning of this song in gist is she will be very happy to see one fine day that no newspaper has any thing sad to publish, or no TV channel has any thing sad to broadcast, in place of that they are broadcasting all the parties in the town. What a blessed day that will be! I know you are also agreeing with me.

I know it’s the duty of the media to show us the truth, but is it necessary that it would be shown in such a horrifying manner, unnecessarily? I don’t know how many of you will agree with me, but those of you who are sensitive and have respect for life will agree that it sends a chill down our spine and screws up a long portion of our day when we see on the front page or any page blood smeared lifeless bodies, its irrelevant whether it belongs to human or animals.

If the idea is to deliver the news, that can be done without these horrible displays, and if they want to spread some message against violence, that can be done by words instead of gory illustrations. It doesnot makes one detest violence, it makes one habituated with it.

Will I be too wrong if I assume that its done because we have ceased to care for life? So many time we are forced to pass by dying people on pavements not because we are heartless but because we are extremely busy with earning our own bread. The same mindset is reflected in media, all they concentrate on is catching attention, doing their job. I have seen my father reading newspaper while eating but I never touch the newspaper before bracing myself up, or switch on the tv news when I am having dinner or breakfast or enjoying myself.

I know truth is often harsh, but the question which arises in my mind, after getting almost daily dose of my shock, is it really necessary to present these in such a harsh manner? I don’t know why, but I somehow feel that it is disrespect to the departed soul and torment to us.

We, who already have enough friction and turbulence in our personal life to make us distressed. These open display of morbidity only changes that distress to gloominess.

In the end, I too really would love to see a day like Anne Murray when no news media will have any thing sad to show, all they will have to do is spread a little happy thoughts.
