Life

Life is a bliss if you can feel it, cherish it
Dark days will come so will days sunlit
It depends on us how we will see it
Shall we leave night behind and look at the morn, face it
Or shall we spend our life dragging shadow over light
Stare at the dark shadows when the sun is shining bright
Don’t think you are the unluckiest soul, the eternally lost
sheep, lost in the wilderness when all others are heading
home, you are the only one wandering in dark and frost,
we all are walking around a little in haze, a little brooding
over our failures, losses and heart breaks, and little hurts
but those who trust the shepherd know where they are heading
so, when the days seem too tiring, nights too dark
just keep in mind the shepherd, who watches over
all his children, stretches out his arm when we seek
to hold us, to shelter us, and to glide us over
the stones, the unknowns, the mountains and creek
let your faith for him grow strong never let it waiver.
Soon you will see that all your worries have gone
Like the clouds drift away after the rain
When pours down upon us the rays of sun
When you realize that you are one of God’s children
He cares for you, protects, loves, cherishes as his own
Life stays just the way it was only the despair is gone
that is what makes the change; the laughter, the fun
comes back when you laugh at your own reflection

Yeah everyone has a problem, and everyone knows this, yet everyone thinks he is the unluckiest. Strange but its true.
ReplyDeleteand the moment we stop thinking like that we add some colour to our own life.
ReplyDelete:)
It is good that the first comment got lost.
ReplyDeleteSo, once more.
This is a wonderful piece of poetry pervaded by genuine affection to a regular human being with his/her weaknesses and strengths, sorrow and happiness, got lost in the hell and regaining paradise. And on top of everything is the luminous hope, that everything will be good soon, and we'll laugh at our own reflection. This I feel as the most valuable and emotional component of the poem. Nearly everybody, with at least a little love in his/her heart, laughs when eventually everything goes fine.
Thanks for this poem, saturated with subtle but strong feelings.
